Sounds to me that the parks are not installed individually and directly to the Models folder, i.e. they can't be is some sub folder, e.g. 1916 or maybe the way you unpack a bulk download. Look in one of the folders you download and unpacked if there is another folder with the same name inside, that is the problem.
Here is a link to the excellent installation video Silvam made. He does I little differently than I do but his method has fewer steps. I think the same method will work for bulk downloads, i.e just select the parks you want, or all of them, and copy them to the Models folder.
