Cards notes: Edman begins rehab assignment
Cardinals middle infielder Tommy Edman has begin a rehab assignment at AAA Memphis after being out since the fourth game of the season with a knee injury.
Edman is expected to only play three or four games for the Redbirds before being called back up to the majors.
