June 14th, 1875 - The Keokuk Westerns are folding today with a 6-7 record. The club was unable to get teams to come out to Iowa to play them, and they are the second team to fold this season. Ironically, Keokuk is folding with the best record of the year's new teams.
Meanwhile, the Athletics remain in first place, with Boston lurking only 3 games back. Hartford has been playing surprisingly well this season and is in 3rd place at 6 games back.
