I posted in the bugs forum and Matt said they were looking into AI trade frequency.

I'm in 2022 from a standard MLB start with trading at very high. 2022 I had a total of one trade from March 1st through June 1st.

Across the 4 seasons, there has not been a single trade with a team out of contention trading away an expiring contract, or a team in contention strengthening. Every single trade (out of not many) has been like for like in terms of current ability in the history of my league, just swapping positions, or hitting for pitching.
