Best way to handle this is probably to select a rehab assignment for him which will send him to your highest level (I believe) minor league team for a limited period of time (I don't remember right now how many days and I think it's different for hitters than pitchers.) This gives you time to formulate a plan. And if they have been out for very long it gives the added bonus of them getting back into playing shape.

And when someone gets injured and will be out for 4-5 months the DL only goes up to 60 days so what do i do with him?

Not to worry. DL times are minimums, not maximums. A guy on the 60-day DL can't be brought back before 60-days but he can remain on the DL much longer than 60-days- basically as long as it takes.

Oh cool thank you so much. Now here is another question. Do you simulate every game or do you use the option simulate until an event? I’m just trying to figure out what the best method is he getting the game down I enjoy watching the games but I’m playing as general manager right now so I really am not In control of who steals how to pitch when to hit etc. once I get a little better with the game then I will play both general manager and manager.
