However, Baseball, Football, Hockey and the rest are not prone to this kind of garbage on a regular basis.

Funny, but I wonder if De La Hoya used Don King as a promoter what his record might be? How many would say that he would be unbeaten at this point in time?

Boxing is as corrupt as it has ever been and has lost a fan. I can't help if you guys don't appreciate when a guy throws jabs and boxes. All anyone wants to see is his a guy go in there in throw hard punches, and when he doesn't we say, "oh man those were pitty patter punches that aren't 'effective.'"

Oscar's jab not effective? Are you kidding me? It kept Shane Mosley, a combination puncher, from throwing combos! De La Hoya's jab forced him to throw one punch at a time.

I mean holy sweet mother of pearl, Shane's own ****ing father told him to go for the knockout in the 11th! Not advice you would give to your fighter if you thought he was ahead.

When asked why he wasn't following his corner's advice, Mosely admitted he couldn't do what was asked because De La Hoya's left hook was too quick!

You can defend it all you want. I know that I am not alone, I've scanned boxing message boards all over the net and people are outraged at such a miscarriage.

This will cost boxing big time, because it will widdle away at its weak fan base.

I have read countless posts of people, who like me, have said that they will never again order a pay-per-view. And if Oscar retires, like he should, who is going to be a big draw?

There ain't no one that sharp on the horizon. This sport has literally cut its nose of to spite its face.

I know that this will be it for me, and that's fine, because after this post I will have made my point and will leave it at that. I don't give two ****s what happens to this joke of a sport.

And really, who does care anyway?
