In NHL playoffs, overtime periods keep going until a goal is scored. In a recent playoff game that I played out, the game went to a second overtime. The game summary (boxscore), however, does not seem to keep the multiple overtime periods separate, as the screen shot below reveals. There was a penalty near the end of OT1 and the game winning goal was scored early in OT2, but both of these events are listed under a single OT heading, called OT1.
