Eric Marks is now 9-8 with a 2.81 ERA in 19 games including 18 starts. Marks pitched a career high 144.1 innings in 1974 for Montreal, that season he was 7-7 with a 3.18 ERA in 21 starts.
Gilberto Luna who is tied for 6th in the NL with 21 doubles, had a critical hit with a 2 run double in the top of the 3rd. The 1-out hit but the Expos up 4-0.
Houston Astros SP
Justin Bergman allowed 4 hits and struck out 8 over 7 innings in a 4-2 win over the Dodgers. The 34 year old now is 11-3 with a 2.73 ERA in 19 starts. Bergman was part of the 1969 MLB allocation draft to the Astros. In April 1969 he was named the MLB's #16 ranked prospect.
