I play out all of my games in 3D and I am in late August.
I have not seen anything unusual.
When I evaluate "going home", I first consider the distance (first by visual, as I use 3D, and I seem to be able to judge this "in real time" by actually looking at the field/distance, but I also look at the text), then the speed of the base-runner (I have a couple speedsters) and the arm of the OF. Of course, I also consider the game situation.
I have had a few guys thrown out, but most of the time, I seem to be able to make the right call based on the above.
