So, oddly, the game appears to have auto-renewed all the guys for 2019 as soon as the FA filing date was hit in November 2018. Did not expect that.

But maybe even though it says they have a contract for 2019 it has no real effect if they are removed from the roster before actual play begins in March 2019?

Boy the life of a GM is a confusing one.
