... I've tried looking around everywhere for a 3D ballpark file for Royals Stadium, as it looked from the time it opened until about 1990.
I saw a file labeled 1973 and although it looked great it was clearly modeled after the way the ballpark looks now.
Here are a couple of photos of the park, one in 1973 and the other in 1988. I believe all the seats were red during this period, though I could be wrong about that. Also included are the ballpark dimensions and park factors.
I'm a huge fan of 1970s baseball history & it would be great to have this one available. Thanks in advance!
