Thanks for that second Blumberg; I had thought about using that pic, but worried it was from too far away.
The AI Jays are doing great despite a lot of pitching injuries; they're also using Blumberg's 1990 Myrtle Beach teammate Mike Ogliaruso. (Who really only had the one good year [14-9, 2.47, 8.5 K/9], but it's at the right time to impress the AI, I guess.)
And here's Tony (or "Anthony") Manahan, who got a "Rookie Stars" card from Fleer Ultra in '94 after a solid '93 at AAA Calgary. But with Felix Fermin having a good 1994 (although, of course, the Vizquel trade was ultimately horrible for the M's) and this Alex Rodriguez kid ready to take over, Manahan never even got a chance to be a rookie, much less a "star".
