..and NEVER have I had crashes like this.
SOME minor issues with OOTP17 and OOTP18, but never like this.
The last few days, the new patch (steam) wouldn't fully install.
Before the patch, the game played but often froze and then wouldn't respond, so progress to that point from when I opened the game wasn't saved.
Now, post-patch, after checking game file integrity? I can't get past the 2nd or 3rd inning in ANY game without crashing: new season, historical replay, using 2D or 3D, settings maxed out or minimized.
Cant play at all in fullscreen mode (mouse won't show up) so I play in windowed mode WHEN I CAN play.
Running WIN 7, latest drivers, my Radeon 7700 works fine with all my other 3D games.
But this is certainly the MOST unstable version of OOTP in 3 years of playing it and until it's stable again it has completely lost it's fun for me.
I hope that something comes out in a patch for Steam customers so the game becomes stable again.
I've done everything notes above that made sense, but,like many others: I've got a game that simply will NOT play without crashing or freezing.
Also: it was crashing before I added workshop stadiums and facegens and it's crashing after. So it's not the workshop mods. And I know it's not my computer.
