i met some online people once... it was cool seeing a large group of people that probably would never meet together under any other circumstances.. maybe a few cliques, but not all.
we timed it with a vacation some brits were taking... even had an international flare to it. the guys in the military even had some days off to attend -- not sure on those rules if they can pick them out or it was just a coincidence with timing.. between iraq wars, but ... still even in peacetime i'd assume it's regimented a bit as far as when they get time off.. not 100% their choice obviously?
the under 21 crowd couldn't get into the bar, so they were excluded
