Larry Walker tore us up in our game today in Montreal. Walker hit 4 for 5, a Home Run, a double, and 2 singles, but it still wasn't enough as we prevailed over the Expos in extra innings. Scott Brosius homered in the 10th and Mike Lansing turned his double into another run in the 10th for the win. I'm very happy how we came out today. Happy for Mike Lansing who had a 3 hit game, and our club who won another won (and our first road game).
Mr 2000 – Kirby Puckett recoreded his 2000th hit with Minnesota's 9-6 victory yesterday over the Red Sox. The 34-year-old Puckett is hitting .313 with 1 HR on the early campaign.

Will Cordero did it again to us. Last night he went 4 for 5, 1 HR, a double and 2 singles. Tonight he hits a 2-run Home Run on Smoltz to give the Expos a lead they wouldn't let go of. Smoltz picks up his first loss of the season and the potential hot start we were off to is no more.
