In my franchise Team A traded their 3.5 star, 5 WAR/yr 1B starter on a 1 year contract and the 30th best prospect in baseball to Team B for $9,764,000, a 1.9 WAR/yr RP on a 1 year $4,200,000 deal, and a 4 star, 6 WAR/yr player with a 1 year $30,000,000 deal.

Team A then released both players they received. I'm not sure why they would do that.

Any thoughts as to the AI's reasoning?
