Just a couple more things to round out this thread. The first one explains about the "crew of recreational goaltenders" regularly on hand "in case of emergencies for
either team." Either team! I assume this is standard NHL procedure?
The second one I included because it made my day, again. Can you imagine? It's like something out of a sappy movie, only when it's real life, it raises the arm hair and brings a much-needed smile to one's face.
