I am playing a standard MLB save and I noticed that Trevor Rosenthal was signed by the Cubs to a one year deal for $2,800,000. What would be the reason for this as he won't be eligible to play in 2018 as he is out for 9 months. Not saying this is an issue, just curious if I missed the reasoning for it.
