The customization on this game is unbelievable.
I run a 32 team league with divisions based on geographic locations, including world teams in places like Mexico, London, Japan, and the Dominican Republic.
It's also great because you have no idea who the names are and you don't see a guy like Altuve and KNOW he should be great. They're all new guys and you just have to trust you scouting department

Looking at the poll, I had no idea how outnumbered Historical Players are by Fictional Players.
I can definitely see the appeal of Fictional Leagues (the whole "Sim City" aspect and all) but I'm drawn to real life superstars (Trout, Ken Griffey Jr., Frank Thomas, etc.) and the MLB franchises. There's just something about controlling the real thing. YMMV. That's what makes OOTP Baseball the best sports game on the planet; the only limit to how you can play the game is your own imagination.
