I downloaded the parks again and extracted them directly to 19. At this point I was able to view the stadiums. However, players would not show on the field and there was no animation to speak of- just the stadium and the PBP.
I went into the file menu and selected settings, then 3D & Facegen. The changes that ultimately worked are listed below.
3d features... open gl enabled
open gl mode... Use default (enable OpenGL if possible)
anisotropic ..... 2x was 16 before
max frames.... 60 was 120 before
audience detail.... simplified
audience quality.... medium was high
audiece animation.... off
Once I tried those settings- the players appeared on the field along with the animation just like they had on slivam's stadiums.
