Great questions and responses. I'm in a similar position trying to create a new league and have it import historical figures. Tons of questions regarding the Spritze DB, importing players in general, including negro league, etc. Sounds like OOTP19 has resolved many of the issues that the veterans on this thread created work-arounds for.
