I only want to play the current season using the current players. I have zero interest in GM duties or scouting minor leaguers or any of that stuff. I just want to manage one team for the whole season and let the AI handle everything else. No trades, no promotions/demotions, no injuries, don't want the AI changing the rotation, etc. I want the 2018 schedule and the 2018 players. Is this possible to do a season this way (like a SOM replay) or are you forced to play GM and deal with contracts and prospects, etc.?
