It seems the “issue” where top players are swinging for less than they should is still around. For example Bryce Harper signed a 7 year deal worth about 17 million in average annual value. He was coming off a season where he finished 3rd in MVP voting. That just makes no sense. Also other big names such as Machado and Donaldson didn’t even hit free agency instead opting to re sign with their teams during the season, which is just unrealistic but I don’t think there’s much that can be done about these things but it’s just a little disappointing to see. Still excited to start my full games tomorrow though

Matter of opinion, I think. Players are just getting outrageous salaries IRL. I think real life is where the bug lies, not OOTP.
