I guess that the first post in this thread still hasn't gotten any real response, even as far as how each aforementioned team might choose their usual 25-man rosters from the players listed under each of them at present. So maybe I should see if this next post that covers teams from the National League that I have in mind for this setup here might get more interest in this thread than the first post has done so far, then.

Next, the likely final team for this particular post, and my favorite MLB team of all time, for certain reasons I will perhaps reveal later, if I so choose, et cetera, is the St. Louis Cardinals, preferably under the management of Whitey Herzog, and playing perhaps in some version of Busch Stadium, if at all possible, at least at first.

Bob Bailor
John Tudor
Jim Clancy
Bobby Bonds
Juan Beniquez
Gary Woods
Bill Russell

Possible other contenders for said 40-man roster related to the St. Louis Cardinals, if not the 25-man roster, may include at least three fictional players, Rick Ankiel, and maybe even at least one clone of Rick Ankiel, but that is yet to be determined.

I have noticed that OOTP seems to sometimes get the caps and/or induction teams wrong for the Hall of Fame, when one starts playing with histories up to their game's starting year. Herzog, for instance, should not be listed as an Orioles player, I believe, but as a Cardinal in the Hall of Fame based on his managerial career. Perhaps in OOTP 19 or later versions, the Hall selection process for leagues in people's game worlds/universes could be modified to allow choices for induction teams of players and/or managers and/or executives for game players, et cetera. Or even allow categories for elections by certain required committees, et cetera. Bruce Sutter should be listed as a Cardinal, not as a Cub, as a result of his HoF RL plaque, I think, even though, I must admit, he did earn most of his WAR and played longer for the Cubs than he did with the Cardinals and the Braves. Yet, he won the WS with the Cards and I think he did the best with the Cards, on average, in comparison with how he did with the Cubs and Braves, if memory serves.

Bruce Sutter and Whitey Herzog, of course, probably wouldn't be the only players or coaches or managers or executives affected by this proposed HoF-related suggestion here, but it still might be worth considering the possibility of looking into modifying how the HoF's members are listed, et cetera, I think, for OOTP 19 and/or other future versions of OOTP, at least, if not also the Franchise Hockey Manager series to at least some degree.

Thank you all for your time and attention here, and I hope you all soon comment on my choices of players, managers, and/or parks, at least, if at all possible and desired, everyone. Would really like to know what you may possibly think of them all, too, if I can, for sure. CD out.
