Bill See, Tarboro Tars 1948

In his only season in professional baseball, See went 25-6 with a 3.15 ERA to help lead the Tars to the Coastal Plain League championship. As an aside, Baseball Reference refers to the '48 Tarboro team as the "A's." Wikipedia shows them as switching from "Tars" to "A's" in 1949. This photo of See would make you believe that Wikipedia is correct.
