These goalies both had outstanding seasons.
Marcel Pelletier is a legit star. He’s capable of winning this series by himself, but he’s not alone.
Gordie Howe is elite, but
Elmer Lach is not playing, and his absence was felt against a bad
Leafs team.
Jim McFadden stepped up against the
Toronto and he will need to be good against
Montreal.
The
Habs have the two highest single season scorers in NHL history.
Lindsay and
Kelly are superstars. If they are going, I don’t think
Detroit has much of a chance without
Lach. I feel this series will be
Red and
Ted vs.
Pelletier.
