no problems with developement?
the guys with a ~150ba in editor won't compete so well with a typical ~200-230 hitter you normally see at A-ball. that's a big range of ability to cover at your first level. forcing playing time isn't a problem, but maybe crap results has an effect (really shouldn't though due to laws of probability).
may want to adjust the sabermetric modifiers to even it out between levels... i think they relate to development based on other posts and the manual - but it's very unspecific, lol. maybe those relate to the point where they "stagnate", for example..
".500" = half developed as the ceiling where keeping them beyond that level of development is a negative effect etc.
i.e. with A-ball being lowest, you may want to adjust down a bit, and let it domino to other levels but with a smaller decrease at AA and leaving AAA the same etc.
i've seen enough guys explode relative to development at R and SA on AI teams well beyond whatever sabermetric value is there for rookie/sa league that i don't think it hurts development too much, if it is a real effect at all. regardless of being tied to teh sabermetric values too. the urban myth is that level effects development in some way shape or form. if it does, it's a very reduced effect for sure.
still possible to have a small negative effect. game may adjust based on what is included on its own too. whether seen or unseen on our end. this sort of thing cnanot be seen with the eye or while you play year-to-year without a regression. analysis. not even rain man could do it with his eyes in a precise manner.
