I'm just curious as to what methods or tools that you guys use to know when to promote or demote your prospects throughout the minor league system up to the majors?

I turned on relative ratings to the *league* but I'm not sure if that is a good way to do it. What other methods or stats do you go by so they player develops properly or "as best as he can"?
