The New York Islanders (27-28-8) are in town to take on the Montreal Canadiens (27-26-10). The Canadiens are 1-2-0 in 3 meetings with the Isles, they lost 4-0 the last time they met at the Bell Center.

The Canadiens enter the game completely healthy for the 1st time in a long time. With Atkins back in the line-up Montreal can get Bryant along side him for the 1st time, a trade that was made to get that match up. The first period was scoreless, the shots were 8-6 for Montreal.
