The Centurion: Willowbrook Warriors Weekly

So many Warrior faithful fans are worried about the direction that I have taken the team so far. I have traded away some young, yet expensive talent for young inexpensive talent. i have signed players that fit what I want to do on the field, who also happen to be good guys off the field as well.
Some of the players I have signed or traded for so far:
LF Lonnie Devon - While he has been oft-injured the last 2 seasons this guy will be our primary power hitter. .290 35 110 is within the realm of possibility for him.
1B John Niec - a young power hitting 1B. i will build this team around his bat.
2B Mickey Scales - In a draft trade with Chevy. a Ray Durham type.
CF Mike Canterbury - He hit 40 HR last season. He can play all 3 OF spots but will be our primary DH.
RF John Buckley - a 4th OF with power who will also platoon at DH.
SS Yurochka Manko a defensive wizard with good speed in case Bostic or Scales struggle.
SP Pebbles Rubble-Flintstone - grew up in nearby Bedrock, father and father-in-law both played here. #1 SP potential.
SP Mike Brady - A still good young arm
SP Louis Fuller - a James Baldwin type but a LHP.
RP Aimee Buckley - John's wife and will fill any holes in the pen.
3B Judd Dunn - a good 3B/2B who may or may not play in AAA all season.
I had to cut some payroll, there was no way around it. I am still looking at moving SS Eric Williams. If he stays a great #2 hitter who can still make the plays at SS.
