Sounds great. The scouting system is perhaps the most important system to me. I'm excited to see what you come up with.
A couple of thoughts on scouting, while I have you hear listening =):
1. In my opinion, a well-implemented relative ratings mode should be the default/"featured" mode, since it conveys the information that the 20-80 system is "trying" to represent. If you guys can work out the bugs that relative mode has had in the past, I think it would be truly amazing.
2. I think OOTP has two kinds of "fog of war": Scouting accuracy and talent change randomness. I sort of wonder if scouting accuracy should be higher by default, and if talent change randomness should be higher by default: AKA more agreement among scouts about which players are *presently* more talented, but more randomness in how they actually turn out.
The reason I think this is that, often times, a scout will rate a draft prospect as a 20-potential player, despite having him in the top 10 of his draft list. Meaning, my scout's report on him is terrible, but he still agrees with the "consensus" that he's worthy of a high draft pick? That doesn't add up to me.
