The American Baseball Legion is a modern MLB league, started with the OOTP18 rosters and currently in the 2021-22 offseason.
This is your chance to manage a team in a new league with a great mix of both veteran GM’s and some enthusiastic newcomers.

We do utilize Slack for day to day communication, but forum for trade posts, archiving of important information, team write-ups and for the purpose of polling GM's on significant league decisions.

OOTP Version: OOTP 18
Players: MLB Modern
Export Deadline/SIM Schedule: Exports 9p ET – Sims to be determined (at least every two days)
League Time Per Sim: 7 Days (adjusted in post-season)
First Season: 2017

Notable Rules & Settings:
Contract Extensions: Controlled players - 4 years & 2 arbs - before a multi-year extension can be offered
Ratings: 20-80 scale (just like the scouts)
Ovr/Pot: Stars
DH: Both leagues
Draft Pick Trading
Draft Lottery (10 worst records)
Scouts: On @ 100% (budget used only for international discoveries)
The ABL will strive to keep our “house rules” as simple to follow as possible, benefiting both established GM's and newcomers.
