I feel like there should be a floor to how low a player's popularity can get after they have achieved some certain rank, maybe that it can't get two spot lower than the highest one they've achieved or something, at least for Local Popularity.
Just because a player has a dip in stats doesn't mean people forget who they are.

I'd use Joe Maur as an example that proves the point of decline in both performance and popularity. Bryce Harper with a down season followed by an injury season is not as popular as he was in 2015.
