So I'm taking year 2017 and keeping AAA and AA for all 30 teams, I want to start a new 'A' league system for each of the 30 MLB ball clubs where each MLB team effectively has its own 'league' at the A level consisting of players in their organization.

So for example:

Boston has its AAA and AA ballclubs, and there's an independent league titled "The Boston City League" consisting of 6-8 teams based in neighborhoods in and around Boston. I would set the league as an A level league and have each team be set to be affiliates of the Red Sox. So basically of the Red Sox prospects below AA ball would be on these A league teams playing against each other. Then I would set up a 'city/neighborhood A league' for each of the remaining MLB teams.

Also, note here that I would start without all of the leagues below AA ball, they wouldn't exist anymore.

What do you guys think? Thoughts on how you think it might work? What I could do to make it better/work better? Thanks!
Never thought about this, and I actually kinda like the idea!

Just to expand a bit, maybe if there was an option to have a Summer and Winter season, where maybe teams could play against each other in your version in the summer, and then in the winter take a team or two as organization representatives, and have them play against each other, like a more fleshed out version of the Arizona Fall League? This would be possible, wouldn't it?
