My rookie-level coach has won 16 straight titles -- which is just the best regular season record with no playoffs.

he does reach legendary status during the season, but either day one of offseason or january first he drops to outstanding each year.

no respect!

i think mil coaches take a hit to reputation every year, but obviously can more than make up for it with a 'good' year. all my minor league coaches take a step back, except for a couple that must be more firmly entrenched at their particular rating. i think a full season vs half season has an effect too -- whether that's just how much they can gain due to time vs something more too??
