"Real" Stat Line in Fictional League

Up until now I've always played with current-day MLB. I wanted to set up a fictional league with MLB teams with correct minor leagues starting in 1967. I chose fictional set-up and chose 1952 as the start (to sim 15 years before beginning). I deleted all of the MLB players, made sure that no real players would be available in the draft, and everything seemed to turn out exactly as I wanted. The only hiccup was that the sim stopped a few times in the first year in September when a handful of BC teams ran out of players due to September call ups. Not the end of the world as I just filled the teams with fictional players and never ran into that problem again. As planned the sim stopped in 1967 and I deleted league history to start "fresh". Everything went great and has turned out exactly as I hoped. My team even sucks to allow me the challenge of building a team from nothing into a perennial contender.

After playing a couple of weeks into the season I noticed that the "real" stat line in the players' boxes is showing. I'd much rather it be showing this month's stats as there will never be "real" stats to show with all fictional players. Did i do something wrong in the set-up? Hopefully I'm missing a check box somewhere that will allow something else to be shown there. I'd rather not start over but I will if I have to. I plan to keep this League going so it's kind of a gamebreaker for me.
