Carl Middleton paced Diplomacy with a complete game effort, scattering nine hits and striking out four as the hosts knocked off visiting Schuykill 3-2. Diplomacy scored all three of their runs with two outs as Pete Soto had trouble putting away the host Ambassadors.

For visiting Schuykill, Bill Meeks, Norm Ellis and Alec Boyd each had two hits. Soto threw a complete game, giving up three earned runs and struck out three.

With the win, Diplomacy is undefeated at 3-0, tied at the top with Empire State. Schuykill droped to 1-2 on the season.
