Thanks Brianechristopher206, but this is exactly what I am trying to not have

The natural shape of the Nordiques logo is the one I posted. It is wider than higher, it has a rectangle shape. So forcing the logo itself to fit in a square 150x150 box means you are stretching it higher but compressing its width. You get a squished or deformed logo like the one you posted, you see that, right?

Well, I guess I'm being picky, but the true solution is somehow to have a 150x150 transparent canvas into which the Nordiques logo is "inserted" into and centered. This is what I can't figure out to do.
