Ying-Hua Ji is day-to-day with a sore back, he shouldn't miss a start, but I am very nervous about this one.

GM Notes:
Have to love weeks like this. However, all this proves is we can beat bad teams... something what we have been able to do all year long. Its the good teams we have had issues with, and they are the ones that make me worried. Next week will be a different story as we start to play some tougher teams. We did gain a couple of games last week, which is huge so I my fingers are crossed we can continue this pace.
I am worried about calling up Tim Meyers and Francisco Franco, because my guess is Patterson will move one of them to the closer role... and at this point why would I want to take Jose Santos out of the closer role? He has 6-saves, none blown since being called up... Great, I brought this up so he will blow 3 next week... I hope not, but really he has been awesome so far.
Over the course of this season I have learned that I have some talented young kids on this roster. Players like Ambrose Gutierrez (.268-4-38), Jose Matos (.302-7-39), and Lorenzo Leal (.264-13-39). This is the future of the offense, they will be the ones in the lineup day and and day out over the next 3-seasons (give or take). With players like Otto Carillo (AAA), Jose Ayala (.232-2-13), and Tully Maxwell (.217-2-27) fighting for time. As much as this team is going to change over the off-season this is still and exciting time to be in Chadds Ford. I do believe we have a bright future.
Oscar Robinson (38 G, 6-3 2.43, 3 SV, 63.0 IP, 75 K) seems to have found himself this season. I have had my eye on him for a while and after a pretty impressive 2036 he just collapsed last season. I am hoping that his resurgence this year means he is the player from 2036 and not last year. Pitchers seem to be so fickle.
Robert Shepherd isn't the Robert Shepherd of 2037, the pitcher whom won the Golden Arm, but he is still pretty good. He is having issues getting W's however this season. In 14 starts, he is 2-4 3.43. The biggest difference this season and last is his BB/9, which have gone up from 1.2 to 3.5, that is an extra 2 base-runners per game... I am hoping he will continue to get better and have a great September. He may be the key to my success.
We are so close yet so far from winning our 3rd straight division title. I am happy with the fact that I have been able to do that with this team, but I want more than just the division title. I am not sure this is they year though, we have just been way too up and down. I guess if we get hot going into the playoffs anything is possible, but I am not that confident after the way we played in August.
