My owner stated publicly that we will stand by Moncada, which is the right thing to say from a PR position. You can't just deal him away. I am not planning to trade him. I'll just see what I can get out of him. Hey, if he's great for a period of time, maybe he can be my first retired number.
My scout has him rated a 75 out of 80 in overall current ability, so he actually went up significantly in the offseason. Maybe his decline will be sharper and sooner. We'll see how this develops.
