DBL News: The All-Star Game Rosters Have Been Announced:
It's All-Star Game time -- time for the superstars to shine! Every year the DELMARVA Baseball League takes a break in the schedule to play the annual All-Star Game. It's a battle of the superstars -- the Delaware Conference All-Stars versus the MarVa Conference All-Stars. The All-Star Game will spotlight the best hitters, the best pitchers and the best fielders, all doing battle against one another, all trying to prove their league is best.
This years game falls early this season due to the new balanced schedule, but it is still be quite a classic. I have to fix this schedule issue next year.

The Delaware Conference holds an all-time lead in the mid-season classic 18 to 7. ii remember the first few All-Star games really close and fun games and then that died down and there were some pitching duels and the offense picked it up, etc, etc etc... wonder what will happen this season? 2036 DC scored 10 runs, first time we saw that in an All-Star game, last year 8, 18-runs in two seasons. Some impressive showings... Will the MarVa Conference have an answer this year? It should be intersting. When I look at the players, I always feel like the MC has the advantage. Maybe in 2038...

The Cannons will be represented by 3 players this season, three position players, and all making their All-Star game debut! This is really shocking to me that we only have position players, I try to hard to build my teams around pitching yet this year the offense is the bright spot. I am not complaining, its just an observation.
Eugene Todd (1B): .307-16-43
Mikel Wallstreet (CF): .319-13-61, 17 SB
Chris Mildmay (SS): .292-7-32, 31 SB
All of them deserve this... now will any of them live up to Matt Douglas and his MVP performance from last season? I guess we will find out.
In all honesty, I don't mind no pitchers showing up on the roster, now they can enjoy the break and get healthy and rested.
