default is great. i think i turn aging to .950? but the effect probabyl can't be noticed by the eye, so no real good reason why i do it ! (*aging slowed and dev sped up .050 - whether 1.050 or .950 i don't recall off the top of my head)
what people confuse is the TCR effect for aging/development along with scouting inaccuracy being a blurring effect.
i've recently turned down TCR (.250-.300ish?) and scouting accuracy low as possible... love the results and no reliance on a 'random' change. you can get good players later in draft than with higher accuracy settings -- significantly improved at the lowest setting.. gm's and scouts are simply wrong often as in real life about prospects.
i'm not a fan of tcr. a person doesn't randomly change their genetics and improve potential... if they improve somethign in their game that's current ability improving toward a ceiling of potential.
maybe if they become a crackhead like the Rangers slugger, that's a solid reason for a drop in potential, lol. i think it can go down, but no viable reason it should ever go up (potential that is).
