The Monks were drafting last in the amateur draft and selected CF Hollis Jones with our first pick. In the second round we selected 2B Greg German with SS Gary Carlson, SS Aubrey Dickinson, and P Rick McGinnis rounding out the top five.

We're not playing bad in June going 9-4 on the field, but we have fallen to 2 1/2 games out of first place. We just need to hope that the A's cool off eventually.
