I just expanded for the first time and chose to take over one of the teams. The General News item I received about the GM hiring made it sound like any old GM 'change of direction' decision. It reads strange for a team that just came into existence that day.

My suggestion would be to have a different news item in that situation, like 'the team has hired their first General Manager'.
