In the bottom of the first, Scott extended his hitting streak to 13 games with a single that loaded the bases with nobody out. Porter then gave the Brewers the lead with a sacrifice fly. May added a run-scoring single for his 20th RBI of the season.

Burroughs put the Rangers on the board with an RBI double in the top of the third.
