Post-Race Analysis: 2017 Chinese GP(3/16)
The perfect storm... literally. We started on the right tyre with Iker, the soft one, and extracted every bit of performance out of it before it became too wet.... and may have waited too long technically, but that gave us tyre life on the inters towards the end... there was a lot of luck involved in that.
Jeremy did not quite come close to the points and that was partially because we started him on the inters. Yes, he moved forward a good bit, but the laps in the dry on the intermediate tyres cost A LOT of tyre life early, and put him out of sync compared to Vidal... who got everything right.
All and all, this means some marketability, and a good amount of additional prize money at the end of the season... sweet. Do not expect us to win anything the rest of the season. This was a fluke.
Development Report:
So, Iker and Jeremy should finally have equal brake balance for next race and we should be able to start a Jenny Whitehouse special brake before the next race. Don't get too over excited, braking performance seems to be limited this season, and has to go through the factory... which means we have loads of potential performance, no flat performance... will take us some time to get them up to speed.
