The other problem with this argument is there is actually no way to know if the player in the example just had his 1st concussion. For all we know he has suffered them before, maybe in high school, maybe in the minors. So you can't say this is an unrealistic result from a 1st concussion when we don't really know that it is his 1st. Somehow I doubt many star athletes who are able to make it to MLB never suffered a concussion before getting to the majors.
