When I click on the OOTP 18 desktop icon, I was asked for my Steam log-in, which had not happened before. Then, it prompted me to install the game as if I had never played it before.

I searched the forum and didn't see anything about this. Will a re-install cause me to lose all of my progress? Is there a way to get the game to start rather than re-installing?
