copy those files to the normal Data\logos etc directories, too... keep backups on desktop, but they need to be in teh data folders to be loaded automatically, not the yourleaguename.lg cap/jersey folders.
After doing this, when Loading the league, check the lower left box to reload all logos and such -- the only checkbox visible in lower left of load window popup. all should be well, now. if named properly it will 100% use those files for those teams.
so as long as city / team name are the same it will use it as explained in manual.... if they are Real teams, simply copy and replace them... you always have backups archived in the default_data directory in ootp's root directory)
i think you have other options that owuld leave both... if you have 2 legues using same city/nickname and want to use new and old, you'll have to figure that one out on your own..never done it. check manual for file naming if necessary i'm sure there's a way to do it.
if they are unique file names relative to default logos/jerseys/caps etc -- NO WORRIES.
Adding files form old ootp: trial and error -- if they have not changed the templates or variable names etc... all should be fine... some stuff simply won't work... use a backup and rename as somethign new ... test it out wihtout fear of breaking anything.
i think they switched certain stuff relating to this between ootp15-ootp16. so, i would not get your hopes up on this ploy.
Other note: not sure if it is why.. but it is a real thing: when converting from previous versions of ootp, some things can be lost. i think it mentions this.
