Bosman was perfect through three but had no run support.

White ended the perfection with a leadoff single in the bottom of the fourth. It extended his hit streak to 16 games.
Howard finally broke the scoreless tie with an RBI triple in the top of the sixth. Ford then brought Howard home with a sacrifice fly.

In the top of the seventh, Lovitto hit the first home run of his career, a solo shot.
Ford doubled with two out in the top of the eighth for the Rangers 10th hit of the game. The Rangers went on to load the bases with two out but Bosman grounded out to retire the side.
Lindy McDaniel pitched the top of the ninth for the Yankees.
White made sure the Yankees would not be shut out as he hammered a homer to lead off the bottom of the ninth. But that would be all.
